The Digital Drive

In our first 40 years, Creative Learning Academy clearly exemplified excellence in education through high academic standards and fostering a culturally enriched community. Being the only secular, private pre-school through eighth grade school in the community, we help meet the educational needs of our growing, diverse community. Traditionally, we used project-based programs to stimulate the students' active participation in learning, e.g., Outward Bound, a Marine Biology trip, and Camp Beckwith, to name a few.

As Creative Learning Academy continues to grow academically and extend the limits of student performance, we are excited to leverage emerging technologies and available resources to position our community, our school, and our students for success. Technology in the classroom will, among many things, change the roll of students and teachers, increase motivation and self-esteem, enhance student technical skills, encourage increased collaboration among peers, and open the doors to an unlimited number of resources not readily available within our community.

The prospect of such an educational environment in our community is remarkable. The quality and character of school life profoundly affects student learning and achievement, and academic excellence is a prerequisite for sustained economic growth.
