Student Council

The Student Council plays a very important role at Creative Learning Academy.  They help share students’ ideas, interests, and concerns with the sponsors and head of school.  They help the students raise funds for school wide projects and to give back to the community. Being on Student Council is something that will help our students become responsible and active members of the community.

Classmates elect student council representatives using a democratic process for fifth-eighth grades. Students in the sixth-eighth grades may also decide to run for a to be the treasurer or secretary, the vice-president is seventh grader, and the president is an eighth grader.
Responsibilities of Representatives and Officers:
- Attend meetings during lunch.
- Meet with classmates to discuss ideas and concerns.
- Work at special events.
- Serve as a positive role model to other students.
 The purpose of student council is to:
- develop positive attitudes and to practice good citizenship.
- promote harmonious relations throughout the entire school.
- improve student/faculty relationships.
- improve school morale and general welfare.
- provide a forum for student expression.
- plan special events or projects.
Objectives of the Student council are to:
- maintain open communication between students and school staff.
- train students in the duties and responsibilities of good citizenship.
- provide opportunities to improve our school and community.
