Standardized Testing

Creative Learning Academy administers the Comprehensive Testing Program (CTP) in grades 2-8. The CTP is a rigorous assessment of student achievement which consists of essential standards and learning domains in English language arts, mathematics, and verbal and quantitative reasoning. The Children’s Progress Academic Assessment is administered in kindergarten and first grade.

The primary goal for the administration of these tests is for program assessment, which means that we can take the data from the results and modify our curriculum to strengthen those areas where scores were lower, along with reinforcing those areas that demonstrate excellence. The results will also be compared to independent school norms in order to assess the overall effectiveness of our academic programming.
